Penderels Trust are a national charitable organisation who began work with a number of local authorities across England and Wales under contract to provide advice, support and information services. This work continues to date and we work with over 40 local authorities as a direct payment support service provider.
Penderels Trust is working in partnership with Sunderland City Council to support adults and children who receive direct payment in the area to get the most of their care money and to achieve their goals.
Our support includes:
Support when recruiting a personal assistant
Guidance on all aspects of being a good employer including legal obligations and responsibilities
Support with choosing and using a care agency
Help with money management and keeping accurate records
Payroll services
We are always looking for people who are interested in becoming a Personal Assistant to support individual employers & clients who are disabled and in receipt of direct Payments.
Regular PA roles are created and we support to advertise and recruit suitable candidates to provide the assessed care and support for those allocated direct payments.
